Samsung's Latest Lineup Of Mini-LED TVs Puts An Emphasis On Value
Samsung has expanded its line of Mini-LED TVs for 2026 with several new models, including Neo QLED 4K TVs that use Mini-LED technology. Notably, almost all come in at an attractive price point, starting as low as $350 for a 43-inch model. That's tremendous value not only in terms of price, but also the enhanced feature set and picture quality. This includes Samsung Vision AI Companion that offers a more interactive and personalized viewing experience, along with Samsung One UI Tizen OS for accessing smart TV apps and services. There's also Samsung TV Plus for free live and on-demand content, and Samsung Gaming Hub for cloud gaming.
The line of TVs that punch above their price bracket includes the Mini-LED M70H models (43-85 inches), the upgraded M80H line (55-85 inches), and the massive 100-inch M90H model, coming later
this year for those who want a TV that can almost completely cover a wall and provide a true cinematic experience at home. There's also the Neo QLED 4K QN70H series, which comes in sizes from 43 up to 85 inches, as well as the QN80H series in sizes from 55 up to 100 inches.
Considering that the 75-inch M70H model comes in at under $750, and even the 85-inch one for just $1,200, the 43-inch QN70H Neo QLED for $600, and the 55-inch QN80H for $1,300, it's incredible value based on the picture quality advantages of Mini-LED along with premium features.
Picture quality enhancements
Mini-LED TVs consist of smaller LED lights at the back of the panel that afford better color reproduction, deeper blacks, and higher peak brightness for more vivid and realistic pictures. Improved Mini LED technology is one of the biggest smart TV changes this year, alongside the introduction of micro RGB TV.
The premium Neo QLED line employs Quantum Matrix Technology that integrates more Quantum Mini LEDs per area for better screen control, more precise light management, enhanced details and contrast in light and dark scenes, and an overall brightness boost. Beyond that, both the Neo QLED and standard Mini-LED models will see landscapes, water, sky, skin tones, and intricate details be reproduced more accurately with Pure Spectrum Color technology. Color Booster Pro further enhances colors, great for when you're watching content like a nature documentary.
You'll find AI across the board as well, one of the biggest trends in smart TVs for 2026. It's used to enhance both picture and sound quality, as well as provide smart assistance and some unique modes. With Samsung Vision AI Companion, you can use voice commands and get help from Bixby. AI Soccer Mode is timely for the upcoming FIFA World Cup, recognizing a game and optimizing settings so you feel like you're right there in the middle of the action. The monolingual among us might appreciate Live Translate for enjoying content in up to 12 languages with captions, while Generative Wallpaper lets you create a custom screensaver image to display.
Usability upgrades
These new Mini-LED TVs have tons of usability and performance upgrades beyond just picture quality, too. With the QN80H Neo QLED and M80H Mini-LED models, for example, you get advanced AI, which works to optimize both picture quality and sound on the fly. If you're watching SD or HD content instead of 4K, upscaling can help even lower resolution content look like it's higher-def. With AI Customization Mode in this line, the TV can intelligently tweak the picture to match what you're watching, like a sporting event versus a movie or sitcom. You don't need to change settings, the TV will do the work for you.
Gamers will appreciate features like Motion Xcelerator 144Hz in the QN80H, helping reduce lag in fast-moving games where precise positioning and reaction times are crucial. It can also analyze and tune audio so you don't have to worry about loud background noise waking the kids, as it's reduced in real-time while dialogue is enhanced to provide a better balance for your space.
The two QN models also support Dolby Atmos for an immersive listening experience. There's also Object Tracking Sound Lite that positions sound in line with where it's happening onscreen, like someone creeping up the stairs to the left or a knock at the door from the right. While the top-level QN80H model does come in at a hefty $5500 for its 100-inch model, that's to be expected for that size and with that many bells and whistles. Most of the TVs in the new Samsung Mini LED and Neo QLED line are quite affordable, and again start at a mere $350 for the 43" M70H.
